Nucleus in atom

Nucleus

Nucleus is the central positive dense part of atom that contains the total mass of an atom. An atom is considered as neutrul in charge. On the other hand nucleus is negatively charged. The charged nutralisation in atom happens due to the equal number of negative charged carries by electron revolving surrounding nucleus. Equal number of positively charge and negatively charge mutually neutralize the entire atom.

A complete understanding about nucleus is possible from the Nucleus model of Rutherford

According to the solar system model, an atom consists of dense positively charged nucleus and equal number of negatively charged electron revolving surrounding the nucleus. The total amount of mass is carried by nucleus. The volume of nucleus comparing with the volume of atom is negligible.

The positively charged of nucleus at first ensure by the world famous Alpha particles scattering experiment.
